| History: | 'Pipe Creek' received its name in 1894 from a meerschaum pipe found by Ralph Cameron. He scratched the year 1794 on the pipe and planted it for the others in his group to find. Thus, the joke provided the stream with a name (AZ-T101/p. 488). |
